Using Wireframes in web development

Wireframing is a powerful tool which enables functionality of web applications to be quickly described without the traditional time cost associated with producing web page mock-ups.


When we are discussing new functionality with a client OR a new project, we'll develop visual concepts for the site and wireframing is a key part of this process. Wireframes allow you to layout content for forms, dynamic applications and agree functionality. Using a rich set of "controls" you can layout pages quickly, leave notes and comments an these sketches can be given to the client or your designer in order to produce final mockups.

Wireframes are also useful for mapping out usability and establishing the best positioning of onscreen elements. Wireframing is a key part of our Agile development process.
